Indigenous Startup Zoho has recently launched instant messaging app Aarattai just like WhatsApp. As soon as this app was launched, many well-known celebrities including Anand Mahindra have downloaded it. Seeing the popularity of the apps, it increased so much that it has become millions of downloads in a single day. Like Whatsapp, you can send an instant text message through the Aarattai app as well as share the document and image. Not only this, audio and video calling facilities are also available in this app. Apart from this, you will also be able to make group video calling through this app.
The special feature of this indigenous app is that it can be used in slow internet as well and it works better on low and smartphone as well. The company’s co-founder Sridhar Venu has recently posted on the download of the Arattai app by Anand Mahindra. Venu has also thanked him on the use of indigenous app by the chairman of Mahindra Group. Like WhatsApp, this app is also equipped with end-to-end encryption, due to which the private interaction of users is completely safe.
What is the meaning of Arattai?
Many users are commenting on the name of this app on social media platforms. Let us tell you that Arattai is a Tamil word, which means ‘common conversation’ i.e. ‘Casual Conversation’. The ZOHO Group has prepared this app specially keeping Indian users in mind. Apart from this, the company has also launched Zoho Mail Service as an alternative to Gmail.
In Arattai, you also get many such features, which are not found in WhatsApp or other instant messaging apps. In this app, group calls can be made with 1024 people simultaneously, which is not available in WhatsApp or any other app. Also, this app is compatible for both Android and iOS devices.
