Cyber security firm Comparitech has released the list of the weakest passwords of 2025, in which more than 2 billion passwords leaked due to data breach in 2025 were analyzed. Out of these passwords, 10 weakest passwords have been detected, which were used by millions of users. These results were quite shocking. Hackers can easily crack these passwords. It takes only a few seconds for hackers to crack them.

Compatitech said in its report that about 25% of the world’s weakest passwords were such that only numbers were used. At the same time, 38.6% passwords have been found in which sequential numbers like 123 have been used. Many users have used easy words like password, admin, qwerty, welcome. These passwords are also very common, which hackers can easily crack. In this report, Indian users have used passwords like India@123 the most.
What should be the password?
Cyber experts believe that numbers, letters and symbols should be used in any password. Passwords created with their combination are secure and cannot be easily cracked. Experts believe that if any password has 12 digits or more then it is considered very secure. At the same time, passwords with less than 8 digits are not secure.
